Heavy snow has affected flights in northern Europe and the Channel Islands.
Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris said 25% of its flights and 20% of flights at Orly had been cancelled by the Civil Aviation Authority.
All flights to Jersey and Guernsey have also been cancelled following heavy snowfall over the Channel Islands.
Jersey Airport said “continuing bad weather and treacherous airfield conditions had resulted in the suspension of flying to and from the airport today”.
It added that although technical crews from the airport had been on site throughout the night, their efforts to clear the runway had been hampered by heavy snowfall.
Meanwhile Guernsey Airport said that the “continued significant snowfall overnight…will result in no flying at least until 12 noon today, and said roads to the airport were largely impassable.
